The PCs and the NDP aren’t seeing eye to eye on the recent “mini-budget.”
In the Fall Economic Statement, Finance Minister Vic Fedeli spoke of his government’s effective and swift savings.
The PC’s said they have saved over $3-billion so far, but the NDP don’t share the enthusiasm.
NDP Leader Andrea Horwath says the PCs have actually made it harder for Ontarians to get ahead.
She says the “report glosses over the pain average folks will feel as a result of Doug Ford’s cuts.”
Horwath adds Ford has axed two high-income surtaxes, a move she says only adds another loophole for Ontario’s top earners.
