Young people don’t know how to find work, and according to the local Chamber of Commerce that contributes to low Ontario business confidence in finding talented people.
President Charla Robinson is working with the education system to make students aware.
“You know we have mining opportunities available, we have electrical developments moving forward. Let’s start to talk about this with graduating high school students about what opportunities there are.”
A survey by the Ontario Chamber of Commerce found 60-percent low business confidence a year ago, that’s risen to 77-percent now.
