The provincial government says it’s keeping an eye on the situation with the company that provides winter road maintenance in northwestern Ontario.
It follows news that the parent company for Carillion Canada declared it was winding down operations in Britain.
MPP Michael Gravelle indicates the Ministry of Transportation met with company officials and they advised the government that winter maintenance services are continuing uninterrupted.
He tells us the government continues to look at all options should the situation with Carillion change.
