An investigating coroner is having to answer for his actions in Robyn Harper’s death in January of 2007.
Dr. Paul Dupuis was the morning witness at the city inquest into the deaths of seven First Nation youth, including Harper’s. He was grilled as to why it appeared he didn’t follow guidelines and contact Harpers mother about her daughter’s death.
Dupuis says he didn’t attend the death scene because he was busy working in the Emergency Department at the Regional Health Science’s Centre at the time.
