Congratulations to the St. Ignatius Falcons Senior Football team who are en route bringing the Metro Bowl Trophy home to Thunder Bay after winning the OFSAA Championship!
The Falcons took a 17-10 win over Toronto’s Northern Secondary School Red Knights yesterday!
The game was played at TD Place in Ottawa, home of their CFL team The Red Blacks.
Though the Falcons were down 7-0 going into the 2nd, the players remained confident and focused.
As the game was nearing an end. the score was tied, but then a 31 yard touchdown by running back Nick Doucet secured the Falcons win.
