Yup… it sure is. A golden retriever puppy arrived in the world with a green coat instead of the blonde fur associated with the breed. The puppy, the smallest in her litter of eight, was born on March 3 — two weeks before St. Patrick’s Day — in Pensacola, Fla., sporting a dark green hue. The rest of the pups had near-white coats. So what do you call a green dog that was born before St Patrick’s Day? Shamrock of course. Brent texted in and said the name should of been Fungus or Moldie. Which got me thinking… they should just change the name of the breed to Mold-en Retriever.
@living_the_golden_life Shamrock was born with her white fur stained with biliverdin. It is rare and beautiful! She is smaller than he sinlings, but healty and happy. #fypシ #pet #fypviraltiktok🖤シ゚☆♡viral #puppylove #shamrock #greenpuppy #itsnoteasybeinggreen #fyp #petsoftiktok
