Thunder Bay’s Regional Food Distribution Association wants to help local senior citizens who have fallen on hard times.
Spokesperson Brendan Carlin tells us they want to help those in our community who face difficulties leaving their homes.
“They might be shut-ins, there may be disabilities involved, whatever the reason. We aren’t sure how many but our best guess estimate is 250 to 300 people.”
Several service clubs will be delivering enhanced food bank hampers to the senior citizens this holiday season.
