Members of the Francophone community are going to be rallying this weekend.
They’ll be forming picket lines on Saturday afternoon at 1, in front of the offices of Liberal MPP Michael Gravelle and NDP MPP Judith Monteith-Farrell.
It’s in relation to the Progressive Conservative government’s decision to shut down the Office of the French Language Services Commissioner and shelve plans for the Universite de l’Ontario francais.
Premier Ford has reiterated the French Language Commissioner will now operate out of the Ombudsman’s office and the University was a last minute election promise of the Liberals.
