An out-going City Councillor is wringing his hands hoping the new municipal government will give much-needed attention to some construction projects.
Larry Hebert points to the Boulevard Lake Dam as a priority.
“If it’s not done at this term of Council, then I think we’re running some risk at that site with regard to the integrity of the dam.”
The Councillor at Large adds work on Balmoral Street and Golf Links Road needs to be done, and hopes the province finally comes through on funding.
After his term is officially up, Hebert says he will continue work on his consulting firm in the private sector.
He adds while he has a few more meetings as Councillor, he’s not interested in running again.
The Councilor at Large has one more trip to Toronto representing Waste Management.
