The city is continuing its free indoor skating program this winter.
City Council will hear a report tonight that says there is room in the Recreation and Culture budget to offer seven free skating days over the next few months.
The 90-minute sessions will be offered at the Fort William Gardens, along with the Port Arthur, Delaney, Grandview, and Current River Arenas.
Four dates are scheduled for the 2018 December school break, and three will be available during the 2019 March Break.
You can go skating for free on Friday December 28th from 2:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. at Delaney, Grandview, and Current River arenas.
On New Year’s Eve, free indoor skating will be offered at Port Arthur Arena, Fort William Gardens, and Current River Arena from noon until 1:30 P.M.
It will also be available during those same hours on January 2nd at Port Arthur Arena, Delaney Arena, and Grandview Arena.
The same times will be offered on January 4th at Port Arthur Arena, Delaney Arena, and Current River Arena.
During March Break, the free skating times are 1:30 P.M to 3:30 P.M. starting on March 11 at Port Arthur Arena, Fort William Gardens, and Current River Arena.
They continue on March 13 at Delaney Arena, Grandview Arena, and Current River Arena, and March 15 at the Port Arthur, Delaney, and Grandview Arenas.
