The strike is over for 58 public health nurses with the District Health Unit.
The Ontario Nurses’ Association says they voted to make a tentative deal with their employer official.
They claim the one-month long strike was the longest in recent memory.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has not announced whether it has approved the deal, which is necessary for nurses to return to work.
Congrats to the @TBDHealthUnit nurses who voted in favour of ratifying the proposed agreement. This was the longest Nurses’s strike in recent memory. #ONAStrong pic.twitter.com/wg5clVknrM
