It wasn’t the blue wave Democrats had hoped for in the American mid-term elections, but they did manage to take back the House of Representatives.
President Trump is still tweeting “Tremendous success, thank you to all.”, after the Republicans held onto the Senate and key governor races.
That was done in part to Texas Senator Ted Cruz keeping his seat, and Rick Scott in Florida winning the senate.
Georgia’s governor Brian Kemp will stay in office, despite a challenge from Democrat Stacey Abrams, who had star power from Oprah Winfrey.
However, Abrams hasn’t officially conceded yet.
There was a record number of woman, 100, elected to Congress.
