The federal labour minister has her eye on ongoing talks between Canada Post and its striking workers.
Patty Hajdu tells us back to work legislation is one of the options they have at their disposal, but notes it hasn’t come to that yet.
“We always have tools in our toolbox that includes legislating people back to work. Right now we’re comfortable with the work the mediator is doing and we’ll assess the next steps as the process continues.”
