You can celebrate the end of the First World War today with a free military parade.
World War One author, Michel Beaulieu tells us it starts at 1 at the Community Auditorium, and then there will be another unique event.
“There’ll be an event in the auditorium running from 2-4pm, as part of that event there’ll be some presentations, some speeches, the Royal Canadian Air Force Band is in Thunder Bay, they’ll be performing.”
The auditorium will also host the film premier of “Where the Poppies Grow: The Lakehead at War” this afternoon.
If you can’t make today’s screening, it’ll be shown November 11th.
