Health Canada says to check your freezer for one brand of chicken burgers because of possible Salmonella contamination.
Health officials say the maker of Janes brand Pub Style Chicken Burgers is pulling the product from shelves.
They remind you that food contaminated with Salmonella may not appear, smell, or taste different but can still make you sick.
It was prompted by an investigation by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency into an outbreak of food-borne illness.
The affected products have a UPC number of 0 69299 12491 0 and an expiry date reading “2019 MA 14”
