There is still no indication when talks could resume in the labour dispute at the District Health Unit.
Vicki McKenna of the Ontario Nurse’s Association tells us they have reached out to management requesting a return to negotiations.
She says a written request has been sent to Health Unit officials and so “the ball is in their court” according to the association president.
McKenna call’s it “a nudge” and hopes since it’s a “formal communication” it will spur some action.
