Most convenience stores in Ontario are complying with provincial laws that ban selling items like cigarettes and lottery tickets to anyone under 19.
Data obtained by the Ontario Convenience Stores Association from the Ministries of the Attorney General and Health and Long-Term Care show almost 96 percent are obeying the law.
The group says mystery shoppers perform the checks for public health units.
