A recent healthcare funding announcement by the PC’s isn’t enough, say the NDP.
The official opposition is raising concerns that flu funding this year is $10-million shy of the previous year.
The $90-million promised could make a bad situation worse, says NDP Leader Andrea Horwath.
In a statement, Horwath added “you can’t invest less in 2018 and expect things to be better for patients than they were in 2017.”
When asked about long term health care solutions, Health Minister Christine Elliot said the government is looking under every stone for possible savings.
