The inevitable result of any Thanksgiving dinner is a lot of leftover turkey.
Allyson Veneziano of the Thunder Bay & District Health Unit explains it’s important to refrigerate all leftovers soon after you finish your meal.
She suggests leaving the food in room temperature for as little time as possible, not much more than one-and-half hours.
The public health inspector adds it’s also important to heat up your leftovers well before you serve them again.
