Thunder Bay police and fire tell us they were kept busy dealing with small brush fires, exploding transformers, as well as numerous alarms going off at homes and businesses from the wind.
The fire department says it also dealt with an unattended pot on a stove at a home on the 400 block of East Brock Street. They were alerted by a passerby to a smoke alarm. No one was home at the time.
