Indigenous high school students are gathering at the Lakehead University Hangar to start off the school year.
Students who are travelling to the city for school will have their orientation this morning, meeting with Nishnawbe Aski Nation officials along with local organizations and city officials.
Organizers say it’s to help them achieve their full potential and to give them a supportive environment while they’re here for school.
It starts at ten o’clock this morning.
