The new school year is upon us and with it comes a new look for some schools in the Lakehead Public Board system.
Spokesperson David Wright tells they had 75 projects over the summer, some big, some small, totalling about $13 million.
Sherbrooke and Vance Chapman schools had new playgrounds built, roofs and windows were replaced at several schools and contractors installed energy efficient lighting on many schools as well.
The biggest project was the addition to Westgate Collegiate at a cost of about $7 million. (File Photo)
