Teaching staff from the public school board are learning more about the dangers of students using marijuana and driving.
Police and public health nurses joined the teachers in learning how to “Weed Out The Risk,” a harm reduction and therapy based program which introduces young people to the risks associated with driving while high.
Organizers say that smoking weed and driving has become normalized within the high school community and they want to change that through their educational programs. (File Photo)
