Prepare to face a long line-up at the border over the next few weeks.
The Canada Border Services Agency is anticipating travel across the border to be higher this holiday season.
It’s issued an advisory for travellers who plan to cross into the U.S. for the holidays or that holiday shopping trip.
It advises ensuring your travel documents and all reciepts of all purchases are handy when returning to Canada.
If you’re bringing gifts back, it’s recommended you not have them wrapped, in case a secondary inspection is required. (File Photo)
