Preventing fires on First Nations is the goal of a new campaign by Nishnawbe Aski Nation.
They’re unveiling Amber’s Fire Safety Campaign, named after Amber Strang, the youngest victim of a fire in Pikangikum First Nation that kiled nine people.
NAN officials presented the plan to a federal committee, and are asking it to recommend the federal government put it into action.
