Conservation officers are cracking down on naughty hunters.
They’ve laid 8 charges and issued 15 warnings during a three-day aerial patrol of remote outpost camps on lakes north of Geraldton.
20 resident and 29 non-resident hunters were checked by the Ministry of Natural Resources.
Infractions including leaving loaded firearms in vehicles, failing to wear orange, not having enough lifejackets in the boat, hunting without a big game licence and failing to carrying a hunting licence when hunting.
