A long list of charges for a local man after a south side robbery.
Police arrested the 27-year-old after they say he assaulted and stole cash from a 20-year-old man.
They were called to the incident on Wiley Street just after 9 last night, and caught up with the suspect as he was running towards Heron Street.
He’s charged with weapons offences, robbery, making death threats among other offences and is now in custody. (File Photo)

Several Charges Laid In Assault With A Weapon
On June 27 at approximately 9:15 p.m. officers were dispatched to a weapons call in progress on the 500 block of Wiley Street. The complainant stated that two males were fighting outside and one had a knife.
When officers arrived, the suspect was seen running down Prince Arthur Blvd. towards Heron Street. Officers apprehended the male and placed him under arrest after a struggle with police. A search of the male revealed a knife in his possession.
The 20 year old male victim advised that he was confronted by the male who was known to him and assaulted with a knife. His phone was taken and smashed by the suspect and a small quantity of cash was taken before the he fled. The victim was treated by paramedics at the scene.

– Mischief Under $5000
– Uttering Threats to Kill
– Carrying a Concealed Weapon
– Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
– Resist Arrest
– Breach of Probation
– Breach of a Court Order x4
Beaudoin appeared in court this morning and was remanded into custody.
