The provincial government is changing adoption rules to make it easier for both potential parents and children to cut through the red tape involved in the process.
One of the changes involves the province funding up to 15 adoption recruiters that works in conjunction with the Dave Thomas Foundation.
Another is extending the age that subsidy programs are available from eight to 21 years of age to update the income threshold that subsidies can kick in.
