One of the music industry’s top CEO’s will get a top honour at Lakehead University’s May graduation.
Michael Rapino, who now heads the concert company Live Nation, but was once a business student at LU, is one of three alumnus who will receive honorary doctorate degrees.
Rapino will be honoured for his entrepreneurship. Also being honoured are Margaret Phillips for her work in social justice, and Dominic Lam for his work as a doctor.
Honorary degrees are given to people who have shown outstanding generosity or accomplishment that benefit the community.
