There may be labour peace for nurses at the District Health Unit.
A spokesperson tells us there is now a tentative deal between the Health Unit and the Ontario Nurses’ Association.
They haven’t shared any details about the proposed agreement.
Negotiations resumed Friday morning to try to end the month-long strike affecting 58 nurses.
Nurses’ main demands have included pay equity with their male counterparts at the Health Unit and with other nurses in Ontario.
